We love snow groomers and have a few different models of snow groomers which can make things a bit confusing. In this article, we are going to go over the difference between our SNO-BLASTER 33 and PATH-MASTER snow groomers.
Both the SNO-BLASTER 33 and the PATH-MASTER have the same 20″ chassis. This chassis has corduroy combs on the bottom and you can add weight to the chassis as well. This 20 ” chassis also allows you to add the optional 12″ wing set.
This 20″ chassis is the only thing the SNO-BLASTER and PATH-MASTER share. Below we are going to go into depth with each snow groomer model and what they are for. You will see from the picture that the SNO-BLASTER has a V-PLOW system and the PATH-MASTER has a Zinc plated blade.
SNO-BLASTER 33 Snow Groomer
The SNO-BLASTER 33 is one of our most popular snow groomers. It comes with a unique V-Plow system that will remove the snow off your trail.
WHY would you want to remove snow off your trail?
That’s a great question. The SNO-BLASTER is built for people or activities that want to remove the snow OFF their trail. This allows you to remove excess snow to get down to hard compacted snow. With trail systems that receive lots of snowpack each winter, this is a really great way to keep your trails open and usable. Don’t want or need a snow groomer that removes the snow off your trails? Skip to the PATH-MASTER.
The SNO-BLASTER 33’s rear chassis also allows you to add weight for compacting the snow. The V-PLOW can be adjusted up or down with the adjustable hand crank tower. The front ski is also built to act as a runner to move up over things that would cause the nose of the V-Plow to hit.

PATH-MASTER
The PATH-MASTER you see in the above picture is the PATH-MASTER with the SNO-RAZOR and SNO-Deflector kit. Just like the SNO-BLASTER 33 the PATH-MASTER comes with a 20″ wide chassis (Remember that the SNO-BLASTER and PATH-MASTER share the same chassis). You can add the 12″ wing set but from there it gets different than the SNO-BLASTER 33. The PATH-MASTER does NOT come with a V-Plow for removing the snow.
You have a blade/knife that lowers down into the snow and cuts/trims your trail giving you new snow to work with. This helps knock down bumps and fill in ruts. You trim the snow with the SNO-RAZOR and the snow hits the plastic SNO-Deflector and pushes the snow down under the 20″ chassis for packing the snow. The PATH-MASTER can work in any snow conditions to help keep your trail level and compacted. Add weight to the rear pan of the chassis when needed. The SNO-RAZOR on the PATH-MASTER can be lifted and stored out of the way when not needed.
The PATH-MASTER is the baby brother to the larger SNO-MASTER platforms.
